- Check expiration date.
- Squeeze the middle of the condom package. If you do
not feel an airtight bubble, the package has been torn or
punctured, and the condom will no longer protect you
against pregnancy and diseases.
- Tear open the package carefully, without using teeth
or fingernails.
- Remove condom from package and determine which way
the condom will unroll.
- Pinch the reservoir tip of the condom to remove any
air. (Air in the condom will increase the chance of
breakage.)
- Carefully roll the condom down.
- When withdrawing after ejaculation, secure the
condom at the base so that it doesn’t slip off.
- Wrap used condom in toilet paper and throw it in the
trash. Do not flush it.
